About The Position
We are currently hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in a supportive group home setting. If you’re compassionate, reliable, and enjoy making a difference in people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you. This role is within a group home setting and adheres to MN DHS 245D regulations. The position offers a starting wage of $16.00/hour with potential for increases based on shift differentials and tenure. The schedule involves a bi-weekly rotation with specific overnight shifts. Requirements
- Ability to follow MN DHS 245D guidelines and procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Dependable, patient, and compassionate
- Willingness to complete required training
- Willingness to cross-train in other roles or homes as needed
- Valid driver’s license (for transportation duties) preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Provide housekeeping and general home support
- Assist with meal preparation and planning
- Perform medication administration (per MN DHS guidelines)
- Provide transportation to outings, appointments, and activities
- Complete accurate documentation and charting
- Support individuals in achieving personal goals and care plans
- Work collaboratively with team members and maintain a positive environment
