About The Position

Hope House Foundation is hiring two Part-Time Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to an individual in their home and community. This role involves assisting with daily living skills, personal goals, and engaging in recreational activities, outings, hobbies, and events based on the individual's interests. The position offers paid training and professional development opportunities, with a focus on building meaningful relationships and helping someone live an independent and fulfilling life.

Requirements

• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation
• Satisfactory Criminal Background Check

Nice To Haves

• Ability to assist individuals with completing activities of daily living.
• Experience through education or work history that demonstrates reliability/dependability.
• Skill to complete satisfactorily: Medication Certification, Medicaid Waiver Certification, First Aid/CPR, Mandt, and other requirements associated with orientation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to make decisions and exercise good judgment.
• Skill in locating and accessing community resources.
