DSP Independent Contractor in Concord (KW)
About The Position
InReach is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Day Support Services for an adult female with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in Concord, NC. This role involves providing companionship, care, and support, including instruction and assistance in home living environments, facilitating community integration, and helping the individual identify and acquire valued social roles and develop healthy social habits. The DSP will also be responsible for dispensing medication and monitoring dosages, as well as transporting and accompanying the individual to and from day programs, work sites, and community activities. This is an independent contractor position.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience with the I/DD population
Responsibilities
