About The Position

This is a part-time Direct Support Professional position with shifts available on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves assisting and monitoring clients in various aspects of their daily lives, including self-care, meals, housekeeping, medication administration, and active treatment. The position also requires participation in the interdisciplinary team and transporting clients. The company is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

• Ability to assist and monitor clients in self-care, meals, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Ability to administer prescribed medication without error.
• Ability to implement and follow established behavior programs, data collection, and safety procedures.
• Ability to assist and monitor clients in active treatment, including training objective plans, recording data, and implementing service goals.
• Ability to participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and communicate client information.
• Ability to transport clients on Company vehicles.
• Ability to assist and monitor clients during community outings and participation in school/day program activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor clients while dressing, bathing, toileting, and in all other aspects of self-care.
• Assist and monitor clients during meals to ensure utilization of family style dining.
• Assist and monitor clients in all aspects of housekeeping responsibilities (Clothing care, house cleaning, and yard care).
• Assist and monitor clients in preparing meals and nutritional supplements.
• Assist and monitor clients in the administration of prescribed medication without error.
• Assist and monitor clients in the implementation of prescribed diet orders and utilization of adaptive equipment.
• Implement and follow all established behavior programs, data collection, and established safety procedures.
• Assist and monitor clients in appropriate active treatment including training objective plans, recording data, and implementing service goals.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and to communicate appropriate clients information as directed by supervisory staff.
• Transport and monitor clients on Company vehicles as directed.
• Assist and monitor clients during community outings.
• Assist and monitor clients during participation at school and day program activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
