About The Position

The Direct Support Professional provides direct, individualized care to residents in a residential setting. This role supports daily living activities, promotes skill development, and ensures a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old
• Valid driver's License is required

• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred
• Related experience is helpful

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care
• Implementing treatment and behavior plans
• Supporting recreational and community activities
• Documenting resident progress
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
• Helping maintain residents’ living spaces
• Transporting residents to community activities
• Participating in ongoing training and staff meetings
