About The Position
Direct Support Professionals (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.
Requirements
- Full G license and personal insurance is preferred
- Includes alternate weekends.
- 32 hrs/week regular schedule and flex to pick up shifts to make a minimum 35 hrs per week
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Community Supports and autism preferred
- Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field
