About The Position

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves creating long-term impacts on consumers' lives by encouraging, mentoring, and coaching them to achieve their goals. The position involves following Individual Support Plans to work on social and communication skills, assisting with daily hygiene and personal care, and teaching daily living activities like housekeeping and laundry to enhance independence. No experience is required as paid training is provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities
