Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT physical.
Ability to pass criminal background, driving record, drug, and alcohol screening requirements.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to complete required training and maintain certifications.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Experience in transportation, caregiving, healthcare, customer service, education, or human services
Wheelchair transportation experience

Responsibilities

Safely transport individuals to and from day programs, employment sites, and community locations.
Assist individuals with boarding, exiting, wheelchair securement, and seatbelt use.
Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion during transportation services.
Support individuals in maintaining positive social interactions and community participation.
Maintain appropriate supervision and ensure participant safety at all times.
Communicate transportation needs, service concerns, and individual support needs.
Operate agency vehicles safely and professionally in all weather conditions.
Complete required documentation and training requirements.
Represent Siffrin's mission, values, and commitment to excellence.
