This flexible position allows substitutes to work with multiple Supported Individuals and pick up shifts based on program needs. Candidates with broad availability (including evenings, overnights, and weekends) are especially encouraged to apply, as available shifts will vary. To remain active on the substitute list, substitutes commit to working a minimum of 20 hours per month. Direct Support Professionals assist people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enjoy active, productive, and empowered lives by providing support to increase or maintain the skills needed to live independently and build relationships in the community.
