About The Position
Wildwood Programs is a provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community-based supports to people with disabilities and their families. We hire those dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. We are looking for caring, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work full time in a Residential setting. Successful candidates will be positive and encouraging with those they support, professional, have patience and a positive attitude, and a strong desire to help others and enjoy teamwork.
Requirements
- A valid NYS license and clean driving record required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to lift 50lbs

Responsibilities
- Help the people who live there by assisting them in activities, like: Cooking, Doing laundry, Running errands, Teach people with disabilities how to do things on their own
- Taking individuals to appointments and activities
- Writing notes as needed.
- Helping individuals with tasks like cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money
- Other duties as need
