About The Position

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) Floater position involves supporting and caring for individuals with intellectual or other developmental disabilities in residential programs located in Warren & Washington Counties, NY. Responsibilities include assisting individuals with daily living activities such as getting ready for the day or bedtime, meal preparation, cleaning, medication assistance, and participating in community-based social and recreational activities. The role emphasizes making a positive difference while having fun.

Requirements

18 years of age or older
Have a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
No experience necessary

Responsibilities

Support and care for people with intellectual or other developmental disabilities.
Assist individuals with getting ready for the day or going to bed.
Assist with cooking and cleaning.
Provide medication assistance.
Participate in social/recreational activities in the community.
Engage in fun activities while making a difference.

DSP Sign-on Bonus ($1,500 for Full-Time 40-hour/$1,125 Part-Time 30-hour DSPs) for some programs/locations/positions.
