About The Position

Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a friendly, young woman in Baldwinsville. She is looking for a mix of Respite ($20) and Com Hab ($25) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm-8pm. She utilizes a communication device to communicate her wants and needs. She enjoys going for walks and being active, but requires some hands on assistance with mobility as she becomes unsteady at times.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Effective communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Flexibility with assignments and schedule.
• Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
• Technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
• Willingness to abide by Indera's technology policy.
• Must pass a background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check prior to hire.

• Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities.

Responsibilities
