About The Position

People Creating Success (PCS) is seeking compassionate individuals to join their supported living service program as Direct Support Professionals. This role involves supporting adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, encouraging independence, and facilitating community engagement. The position offers a chance to make a positive impact and build genuine relationships while exploring communities and enriching passions.

Requirements

• Someone who is compassionate with a person-centered mindset
• Someone who is capable of communication with dignity and respect, especially during challenging moments
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Responsible, and can assist in goal progress tracking
• CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if you’re not certified or need to be recertified)
• Able to be around cats

Responsibilities

• Support participants with daily living skills such as cleaning, cooking, and budgeting
• Encourage and model independence, hobbies, and social activities
• Assist participants access and participate in community activities
• Assist with personal care such as medication support, hygiene and bathing (lifting / transferring may be required)
• Collaborate Person-Centered Care planning with participant
• Record keep progress of care plan
