About The Position

People Creating Success (PCS) is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join their supported living service program. This role involves supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, encouraging independence, and facilitating community participation. The position offers flexible shifts and is focused on making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Requirements

• Someone who is compassionate with a person-centered mindset
• Someone who is capable of communication with dignity and respect, especially during challenging moments
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Responsible, and can assist in goal progress tracking
• CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if you’re not certified or need to be recertified)

Responsibilities

• Support participants with daily living skills such as cleaning, cooking, and budgeting
• Encourage and model independence, hobbies, and social activities
• Assist participants access and participate in community activities
• Assist with personal care such as medication support, hygiene and bathing (lifting / transferring may be required)
• Collaborate Person-Centered Care planning with participant
• Record progress of care plan
