About The Position

Help adults with disabilities find and keep meaningful employment. Support the achievements and skills of each individual as you work to facilitate their placement in community-based employment. Assume the role of a job coach in understanding the tasks of the job before training the individual. Once trained, you will supervise the individual until they are fully integrated into the workplace and able to work independently.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, registration, and access to a reliable vehicle to transport individuals
• Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance

• Preferred experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities

Responsibilities

• Facilitate placement in community-based employment for adults with disabilities.
• Train individuals on job tasks and supervise them until they are fully integrated into the workplace.
• Maintain contact with employers.
• Complete progress notes.
• Transport clients to and from work.
