As a QSAC intern, you will acquire hands-on job skills, as well as knowledge of issues, social needs, public policy areas, and people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This is an unpaid internship where you can earn college credits, provided it is approved by your college institute. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for assisting individuals we support during day program in accordance with an established treatment plan. This role is part of the Achieve Program, which emphasizes building work readiness skills while promoting independence and community integration through recreational outings and Volunteer Training opportunities. The DSP will abide by the Direct Support Professional Code of Ethics at all times.
