We are currently seeking a part-time, experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our In-Home Care services in the Roanoke, Virginia area.

Requirements

• Part-time availability.
• Experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP).
• Detail-oriented.
• Active driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• No more than 2 moving violations or accidents within past 3 years.
• No major violations within past 5 years.
• References and criminal background check free of barrier crimes.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, and organizing.
• Help individuals enrich their own lives through exploring volunteer opportunities.
• Support personal care needs.
• Provide transportation.
• Provide any needed advocacy for medical/dental appointments.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Keep accurate notes to ensure continuity of quality care.
