About The Position

Seven Hills Foundation is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), also known as Support Advocates, to provide care for individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, or acquired brain injuries (ABI or TBI). This role requires customer service, administrative skills, and compassion. Requirements

18+ years old
High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required.
Valid Driver’s License & Good Driving Record
CPR/First Aid and MAP certification required (paid training provided if needed).

Nice To Haves

1-3 years of related experience preferred.
Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives.
Varied interests and personal connections in the local community.
Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history).
Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of your team.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day services to program participants.
Assist and/or teach individuals varying levels of personal care (e.g., bathing, toileting, teeth brushing).
Assist and/or teach individuals household maintenance, meal preparation, and shopping.
Provide ongoing opportunities for individuals to assume increasing control and responsibility over their daily lives.
Accompany individuals on appointments.
Administer medications or support individuals in self-medication according to residential guidelines.
Follow individual routines, including Behavior Support Plans, personal care, and Physical Therapy.
