About The Position

As a Direct Support Professional II, you will assist adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, supporting independence, health, and personal growth. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
CPR/First Aid Certification
Valid in-state driver’s license
Must be 21+ years old
Current vehicle registration & insurance
Driving record with no more than 2 points in the past 3 years
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must successfully complete all pre-employment requirements, including background check and physical.

Nice To Haves

1 year of personal or professional experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (e.g., Autism) or mental health conditions (e.g., Bipolar)

Responsibilities

Assisting with hygiene, grooming, dietary, and dressing needs
Supporting clients with bathroom needs
Changing clothing/undergarments when necessary
Preparing meals and completing cleanup
Following daily routines outlined in the Individual Program Plan (IPP)
Redirecting behaviors through activities like walking, reading, games, math, and computer tasks
Providing safe transportation in company vans when required
