About The Position

Redwood Family Care Network is a leader in person-centered home and community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP I & II) to support adults with developmental disabilities in an Enhanced Behavioral Support Home (EBSH). In this role, you will assist with daily living activities, foster independence, and promote positive behavior through meaningful, individualized engagement.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Required certifications: CPR/First Aid, CPI
• Minimum of one year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health needs preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

• RBT certification required within 6 months of hire (training and fast-track support provided)

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines in accordance with Individual Program Plans (IPPs)
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
• Encourage positive behavior through structured activities, including walking, reading, games, and learning projects
• Provide transportation using company vehicles as needed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment
