About The Position

Omega Day Centers is seeking passionate and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their mission of transforming lives and fostering independence for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves supporting a growing community in Manassas, VA, and empowering clients to achieve their potential and promote independence.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, General Education, or History & Arts OR Associate’s Degree + 1 year of relevant experience OR High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 3 years in General Education or Tutoring.
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and Asana.
Excellent public speaking, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Ability to pass a Federal, State, and County Background Check and Drug Screen.
Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proper insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

Identify unique strengths to craft personalized plans that promote growth and well-being.
Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and participation in engaging activities.
Advocate for inclusion and accessibility in the community.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and partners to build a supportive network for clients.
Accurately track services and consumer files using company-provided tablets and software.
