Direct Support Professional I - Community Respite Worker
About The Position
Seven Hills Family Services, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, is seeking a caring and dedicated Community Respite Worker to provide essential support to individuals with diverse abilities in Bolton, MA. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, promoting social and communication skills, and encouraging active community engagement. The worker will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement personalized care plans that align with each person’s unique goals and needs, while upholding high standards of quality, service excellence, and ethical care. Requirements
- High school diploma/GED/HiSET required
- Valid driver’s license, ability to drive, and means of consistent transportation
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years of related experience preferred
- Experience implementing positive behavior support strategies and intervention preferred
- Knowledge of human development, learning, behavior analysis, positive behavior support, collaborative consultation, and abnormal psychology
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to adjust to different environments
