About The Position

ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a 30-year-old man in the Syracuse, NY area. The role involves assisting him in developing social and safety skills, supporting his independent living, and encouraging him to try new activities. This is a Per Diem position with approximately 12.5 hours per week, providing Com Hab services at $20.50 per hour. We are looking for reliable, patient, enthusiastic individuals who can work independently. Prior experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Reliable transportation is required, and a background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Effective communication and organizational skills required.
• Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
• Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
