About The Position
A SIGN-ON BONUS of $1,200 is available for the successful applicant of this position to be paid in two installments: $600 within 30 days of hire date and $600 12 months after hire date. This position is a direct care staff member who works directly with adults with autism in this residential/vocational facility and their families to provide training in the areas of self-help, communication, social and leisure skills, vocational skills, behavioral support and independence.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with adults with autism.
- Experience in a residential/vocational facility.
- Bilingual skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide training in self-help, communication, social and leisure skills, vocational skills, behavioral support and independence to adults with autism in a residential/vocational facility and their families.
