About The Position
This position is a direct care staff member who works directly with adults with autism in this residential/vocational facility and their families to provide training in the areas of self-help, communication, social and leisure skills, vocational skills, behavioral support and independence.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with adults with autism.
- Experience in a residential/vocational facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide training in self-help, communication, social and leisure skills.
- Provide training in vocational skills.
- Provide behavioral support.
- Provide training in independence.
