About The Position
Achieve is looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Float, a dynamic and flexible team member who is excited to jump in wherever support is needed. This role offers consistent weekly hours but not a fixed assignment each day. The DSP Float will work across various programs, supporting individuals with disabilities in meaningful, community-centered ways. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, connection, and purpose, and enjoys helping people live their best lives with diverse daily experiences.
Requirements
- A team player with a positive, “jump right in” attitude
- Someone comfortable moving between programs and tasks
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to drive agency vehicles (training provided)
- Reliability, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others succeed
Responsibilities
- Driving individuals to and from work or community activities
- Serving as a Bus Aide to ensure safe, supportive transportation
- Helping in High-Needs Areas, offering personalized, hands-on support, including personal hygiene cares
- Working in Program & Workroom Areas, assisting with daily activities or skill-building
- Job Coaching, helping individuals succeed in their employment
