The Direct Support Professional works on an interdisciplinary team that delivers superior quality of service and provides appropriate activities in a safe and healthy environment within the home and community setting. This role involves assisting clients with basic living skills, daily personal tasks, providing transportation, maintaining communication between staff, completing documentation, adhering to medication management guidelines, organizing recreational activities, and acting as a role model. The DSP is expected to treat clients and their families with dignity and respect, maintain FCC facilities and vehicles, and attend necessary training. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires maintaining confidentiality.
