About The Position

Special Citizens Futures Unlimited, Inc. is seeking passionate individuals to make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. This role involves providing direct support and assistance, promoting independence, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals under your care. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts. The company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO).

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and High School Diploma/GED
• Comfortable driving a 15-passenger van - you will be road tested prior to starting
• Must attend additional trainings within 6 months of hired (CPR, SCIP, AMAP)
• Comfortable with daily use of technology (computer, email, phone, typing etc)
• Effective verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care
• Promote independence and community integration for individuals with disabilities
• Document and maintain accurate records of services provided
• Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
