About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their team in and around Columbia and Montour County, PA. DSPs work one-on-one in home and community settings, acting as a companion and mentor to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The primary goal is to assist clients in reaching their full potential. Requirements

• One year experience working or volunteering with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, hygiene)
• Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking and cleaning
• Accompany clients on errands, appointments, and community integration activities
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies
