About The Position
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) help individuals with developmental disabilities live more independent, fulfilling lives. ViaQuest Residential Services provides all the necessary training for success, making this role suitable for those starting their first healthcare job, exploring a new career path, or seeking meaningful work. No prior experience is required as training is provided from day one. The company is hiring for full-time and part-time positions across multiple shifts: 1st Shift (Days), 2nd Shift (Evenings), and 3rd Shift (Nights).
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Ohio Driver's License
- Reliable vehicle with active insurance
- Ability to meet ViaQuest Authorized Driver requirements
- Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and assist individuals as needed

Responsibilities
- Supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities
- Assisting with daily living skills and personal growth
- Teaching and encouraging independence
- Providing personal care as needed
- Preparing meals and assisting with household tasks
- Creating a safe, clean, and supportive living environment
- Transporting individuals to appointments, activities, and community events
