About The Position

Do meaningful work in your community. BAYADA works one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. This position is part-time with the potential to reach 40 hours, with job openings in Monongahela, PA; Clairton, PA; West Mifflin, PA; Elizabeth, PA; and Venetia, PA.

Requirements

• One year experience working with I/DD individuals; If you do not have this experience, training is available through our apprentice program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• You will provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• You will accompany clients on errands and appointments
• You will spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• You will assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• You will participate in community integration activities
