Dungarvin is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our Day Program. As a DSP, you would coach and foster engagement by leading workshops designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities. DSPs mentor and continuously engage individuals and lead groups through art, music, games, audio/visual, cooking, reading, and other life enrichment activities. They also provide direct care support and behavioral interventions as needed and ensure timely and accurate documentation outlining daily progress. This role requires a compassionate, patient, and adaptable team player with a positive attitude who thrives in a dynamic and active environment, consistently engaging the individuals supported. The ability to take initiative, pivot, and strong problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency with computers and the ability to quickly learn new software systems with ease are also required, as excellent communication is key in this role.
