About The Position

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in our Group Homes, you will help individuals with disabilities build independence, navigate daily life, follow individualized service plans, and create a home where everyone feels valued and respected. HIT, Inc. supports individuals with disabilities across western North Dakota, providing a safe and supportive environment in our group homes where 6-8 individuals live together.

Requirements

• Knowledge and skill equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma
• Knowledge and skills necessary to perform ordinary household functions
• Good observation skills
• Ability to relate observations accurately, both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge and skills necessary to perform basic computer operations
• Required certifications to become a medication technician
• CPR certification
• First Aid certification
• DD certification

Nice To Haves

• Work experience in the field of developmental disabilities
