About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide morning support to an adult receiving services in their home and community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships and supporting daily routines in a calm, encouraging environment.

Requirements

• Experience in caregiving or working with individuals with I/DD preferred
• Ability to communicate calmly and respectfully
• Reliable, patient, and attentive
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance (required for community-based support)
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations

Nice To Haves

• Experience in caregiving or working with individuals with I/DD preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, meals, and organization
• Provide gentle reminders and support with routines and personal goals
• Support community outings (shopping, errands, activities)
• Encourage independence and skill-building
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
