About The Position

A Direct Support Professional (Also known as DSP, Residential Assistant, Caregiver, Home Health Aide, CNA) is responsible for providing support to individuals in various settings. This includes light housework such as cooking, meal preparation, and cleaning. They also assist with personal care and hygiene routines, including feeding, medication administration, bathing, showering, and toileting. The role involves providing transportation to doctor's appointments and outside activities, as well as offering behavioral and social support, which may include working with individuals experiencing physical and verbal outbursts or aggressiveness. Accurate completion of daily service notes, daily attendance, and other required documentation is also a key part of the role.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of DSP experience is strongly preferred for the DSP Floater role
• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Valid Driver’s License with 2 years of consecutive driving experience and less than 3 moving violations within the past 36 months
• Ability to pass pre-employment background/physical/TB/drug screenings
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as needed

Responsibilities
