About The Position
Abound Health is seeking compassionate individuals for Direct Support Professional (DSP) roles. This position is designed for those looking for work that matters but struggles to fit a traditional schedule, offering genuine flexibility with hours that can be as minimal as a few hours a week or month. The role focuses on helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) live happy, independent lives by providing companionship, coaching in skill development and community engagement, and support with daily living activities, health, and safety.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Reliable, compassionate, and ready to listen.
- Willingness to undergo a standard background check.
- A valid driver's license is preferred to help get our clients out into the community!
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in caregiving, personal support, or disability services is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
