Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver
About The Position
A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect. The position involves providing hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance, ensuring the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals served. Responsibilities also include performing housekeeping and laundry duties, and assisting with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.

- 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license required (due to transporting persons served)
- Candidates must be comfortable driving to transport persons served as required
- Good communication skills (reading, writing, and verbal) for documenting care, following support plans, and collaborating with team members.
