About The Position

This role involves working directly with individuals in need of assistance, and/or living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or other complex medical needs. The team is united by a shared commitment to making a real difference. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide hands-on care, assisting individuals with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry duties, all while fostering independence. You will also create a safe and welcoming environment, maintaining a clean, safe space that ensures comfort and support while helping individuals reach their personal goals. Additionally, you will mentor and guide individuals, providing supervision, positive reinforcement, and guidance to help them achieve their aspirations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Passion for Helping Others
• Physical stamina to stay on your feet, walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.
• Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.

Responsibilities
