About The Position

DSPs are difference-makers for our adult friends and neighbors with developmental disabilities to live active and meaningful lives. A DSP in our day programs supports people in the areas of employment, volunteerism, medical appointments, training and education, recreation, and common life skills. That support may range from hands-on assistance to detailed instruction, or simply a high five for encouragement.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma/GED
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Personable: Approachable, good listener, greets strangers.
• Stick-to-it-iveness: Demonstrated longevity with previous employer(s).

Responsibilities

• Support people in the areas of employment, volunteerism, medical appointments, training and education, recreation, and common life skills.
• Provide hands-on assistance or detailed instruction.
