Community Living Support Services (CLS) are designed to assist individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities with developing, preserving, or improving the skills required to live as independently as they possibly can while ensuring continuity, safety and high-quality service in the individual's personal residence or family home. InCommunity provides Community Living Support services in compliance with the Department of Community Health (DCH) and DBHDD waiver programs. CLS services may include personal care/assistance. The amount of personal care/assistance is specific to the needs of the Individual, as determined by the Supports Intensity Scale, the Health Risk Screening Tool, and other person-centered assessments. The service needs may be addressed in one or more of the following areas: Activities of daily living, personal grooming and health care, interpersonal relationships, mobility, home management, and use of leisure time.
