About The Position

BAYADA is urgently hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) / Caregivers across Westmoreland County. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference and build a rewarding career by providing one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The goal is to help them live more independent and fulfilling lives at home and in their communities. BAYADA offers a paid Apprentice Program for those new to the field, providing the necessary training from day one. All clients are adults, aged 18 and older.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with I/DD preferred, but not required (Paid training is available for those new to the field)

Responsibilities

• Support clients with errands and appointments
• Build meaningful connections through hobbies and activities
• Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation
• Encourage and participate in community involvement
