Rockwell Care Services is hiring compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Caregivers to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential home setting. Requirements

• Compassionate, dependable, and patient
• Comfortable working independently and with a team
• A strong communicator with good organizational skills
• At least 18 years old
• Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to pass required background checks

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months of paid caregiving experience (or one year caring for a family member or loved one)
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities, seniors, or other vulnerable adults

Responsibilities

• Support adults with disabilities in daily activities
• Provide companionship and encouragement
• Assist with personal care as needed
• Prepare meals and complete light housekeeping
• Help with medication reminders
• Drive residents to appointments and community activities
• Teach life skills that promote independence
• Create a safe, positive, and respectful home environment
