About The Position

The Arc Western Montana is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals to make a real difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. Whether you're starting your career or bringing caregiving experience from healthcare or elder care, this is meaningful, hands-on work. We’ll train you every step of the way.

Requirements

• Be at least 17 years old
• Pass a background check and drug screening (as required by Montana state law)
• Communicate clearly in English, including using basic electronic systems

Nice To Haves

• Experience in caregiving or support work is welcome, but not required
• Compassion, dependability, and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living tasks such as meals, hygiene, and medication assistance
• Assist with community outings, social events, and skill-building activities
• Keep accurate electronic records and documentation
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
• Be a positive presence and help others live with dignity and independence
