About The Position
Richmond Community Services is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities for over 40 years. They provide compassion, love, and support to residents and their families through a network of trained professionals, support staff, volunteers, caregivers, and donors. The organization supports adults with varying needs to lead meaningful lives with dignity and pride, utilizing home-like settings in various Westchester locations to foster growth and engagement in recreational and community activities. Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are central to this mission, providing assistance, safety, and care to help residents reach their goals.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License.
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
