About The Position

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position requires someone who has had a Driver's License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy. Positions include weekend shifts as scheduled. The specific schedule is Part Time weekdays 2p-10p with every other weekend 11a-11p. Caregivers at Sevita help people grow, learn, and live well, develop meaningful relationships, and take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities. They support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role involves assisting people with their personal hygiene and supporting individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Six months of experience with intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred

• Valid Driver's license
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
