About The Position
Direct Service Professionals (DSP) at Havar, Inc. are responsible for the direct supervision of individuals with developmental disabilities in their home and community. Depending on the needs of the individual, employees may be required to assist with cleaning, transportation, personal hygiene, shopping, cooking, and any other duties outlined in the individual’s plan.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Valid Ohio Driver's license and good driving record (less than 6 points).
- Satisfactory background check.
- Satisfactory drug test.
- Complete certification requirements of regulatory or licensing agencies as necessary.
- Be eligible for employment in the United States.
- Possess clear and supportive communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of experience.
- An additional 60 units of training done at your own pace.
Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of individuals with developmental disabilities in their home and community.
