The Residential Direct Sales Representative is responsible for cultivating leads, meeting with prospective customers, and closing sales for residential services within an assigned local territory. RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary duty of the RDSR is making sales and/or obtaining orders or contracts for services that will be paid by the client or customer; and is customarily and regularly engaged away from the office and in customers’ homes and other community based locations. Identify upselling opportunities by prospecting in assigned community events, evaluating their needs, and selling solutions for those needs. Participate in setting targeted community sales & product strategy by remaining current on competitive offers, industry trends, and market activities. Provide feedback to enhance sales processes. Maintain quality service by selling appropriate solutions in keeping with Company’s standards and identified revenue and penetration objectives. Identify upselling opportunities and offer residents additional or upgraded services. Maintain product and technical knowledge by engaging in group discussions, attending weekly sales meetings, and educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal relationships and embracing best practices. Other duties as required or assigned.
