About The Position

The Direct Sales Agent Lead Specialist is responsible for leading, coaching and developing a retail store's team members attain sales goals in the assigned store, emphasizing customer satisfaction and profitable growth. In addition to growing and retaining the current customer base by implementing new business and marketing strategies, this role also coordinates the activities of store staff in the areas of sales reporting, sales administration, and workforce scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and report progress and ongoing metrics to all levels of management
  • Identify training needs and work with training teams to maximize performance
  • Understands, promotes, and remains current on company underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memos related to changes in company policies and procedures
  • Receives customer payments, issue receipts, verifies reports of receipts for cash drawers, and ensures daily deposits are taken to the bank
  • Meets and exceeds individual sales goals through new product sales, cross selling, and customer retention
  • Develops and manages customer relationships and serves as a resource to customers and potential customers on all National General products and services
  • Promotes a positive work environment that provides a strong sales client satisfaction focus, with clear accountability
  • Leads, coaches, and develops team members
