DIRECT JUVENILE SUPPORT WORKER/COACH COUNSELOR
About The Position
Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Direct Juvenile Support Worker/Coach Counselor at The Dermott Juvenile Treatment Center (DJTC) in Dermott, Arkansas. DJTC is a secure residential program for at-risk male youth ages 18-21. The program promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment, and provides opportunities for positive change, achievement, and growth for students and staff. The campus includes residential student dormitories, an on-site school and library, a vocational training program, medical services, and an outdoor recreation area. The role offers the opportunity to create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for youth and build a career rich in growth opportunities and self-fulfillment.
Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug test, physical, and TB test.
- Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
Responsibilities
