Work in your neighborhood and give back to your community. BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for Direct Care Workers (DCW) to care for our clients. As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard! BAYADA Home Health Care offers a Direct Care Worker, DCW Training Program, incorporating basic regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills for graduates to provide care for adults in our Assistive Care State Programs practice. We have current job openings for Direct Care Workers in the following locations: Lehigh County, Northampton County, Bucks County, Berks, Schuylkill, Carbon, Monroe, Pike, Wayne. Currently, we have a more urgent need in the following counties: Lehigh, Pike, Monroe & Carbon.
Requirements
- Successfully Complete the Direct Care Worker, DCW Training Program, provided by BAYADA, if you have no experience
- Must have reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
